Free Food Handler's class
House of Pacific relations requires everyone handling food during December Nights to have a food handlers certificate.
A free class will be held Thursday October 19th at 6.30 pm at the Hall of Nations. You can RSVP here if you want to attend the class.
Swedish church service November 4
Please join pastor Louise Linder, from the Swedish Church in San Francisco Saturday November 4th at noon in House of Sweden.
It will be a Swedish "Allhelgona" (All Saint's day) Service and we will remember Siv Garrod, Britt Carin Drewery, and all our friends who have passed away during the year.
Mikael Sandgren, Cantor at the Swedish church in San Pedro and his wife, Lola, will be there, as well as Ylva and the Swedish choir.
We hope to see many familiar as well as new faces.
Please bring pastries or cookies to share.
Coffee and tea will be served on the patio after the service.
The service will be in both Swedish and English.

Ellen Harvey at SDSU for an informal session about musical theater
Anne-Charlotte Harvey's daughter Ellen Harvey, who has been in several Broadway productions, will be at SDSU on

House of Sweden's members are invited!
On Friday October 20, 1-3 pm, at SDSU, the MFA in Musical Theatre class will meet with Ellen Harvey for an informal session about musical theater today, the profession, the training, and the ins and outs of a career as a performer.
The room is Dramatic Arts 5 B. Confirmation of the location and directions will be given when we get closer.
