We are located in beautiful Balboa Park in San Diego
We are open to the public Saturdays and Sundays from 12 to 4 PM 
If you would like to join the House of Sweden, you can fill out a membership application.

Member Meeting and Potluck
​Sunday, June 7 at 4:30

​Come join us at 4:30 for a brief member meeting followed by our famous potluck and social hour.
​We encourage new members and members who have not served on weekends to attend.  We will be giving a demonstration on how to open the cottage, work the coffee maker, and serve fika.

​ We hope we have a good turnout. This is a good time to meet and greet each other and see what is going on at the House of Sweden. 

You can just come to the meeting and share a glass of wine or stay and enjoy the potluck with us.  

Save the date for Saturday, June 6

June 6 is the National Day of Sweden (Sveriges nationaldag) and an official public holiday. It commemorates two key historical events: Gustav Vasa’s election as king in 1523 (marking Sweden's independence) and the adoption of a new constitution in 1809.

Come join us to celebrate Swedish National Day June 6.  The Swedish Choir will perform , there will be speeches, and home made refreshments at the House of Sweden.

Craft Group 

The craft group meets at the cottage on the second
Saturday and fourth Tuesday every month from 11-4.  Everyone is welcome and you can drop by any time to see what they are doing.
