We are located in beautiful Balboa Park in San Diego
We are open to the public Saturdays and Sundays from 12 to 4 PM 
If you would like to join the House of Sweden, you can fill out a membership application.

Swedish Church Service
Saturday November 1st, at 10.30 a.m
at the House of Sweden

Please join us for a Swedish Church Service with our Svenska Kyrkan i Los Angeles Pastor Manilla Okomdal Nordanstig in the House of Sweden on Saturday November 1st, at 10.30 a.m. 

It will be a service in celebration of All Saints Day (Alla Helgons Dag) and we will be able to light candles for loved ones who have left us.

Manilla's husband, Andreas Nordanstig, choir leader in the Swedish Church in San Pedro, will be there providing beautiful music and singing.

Coffee and refreshments will be served on the patio after the service so please bring some baked goods to share.

 Member meeting and Potluck
Sunday November 9 at 4:30 PM

​Our November member meeting will be moved to  November 9 so that  our Scholarship recipient,  Matthew Carlson can attend  and talk about his experience at Sjölunden International Summer camp at Concordia Collage in Minnesota.  

.Come join us at 4:30 for a brief meeting and Matthew's presentation followed by our famous potluck and social hour.  We hope we have a good turnout.  This is a good time to meet and greet each other and see what is going on at the House of Sweden. 

You can just come to the meeting and share a glass of wine or stay and enjoy the potluck with us.

Servers needed for Saturdays and Sundays
We need our members to take turns serving the public on Saturdays and Sundays.

Craft Group 

The craft group meets at the cottage on the second
Saturday and fourth Tuesday every month from 11-4.  Everyone is welcome and you can drop by any time to see what they are doing.
