Food Handling Certificate
If you prepare or serve food to the public on Saturday or Sunday or at one of the major events, you will need a food handler's certificate from San Diego County.
The House of Pacific Relations has these classes periodically before major events. You can also take the course online, most of our members have used Premier Food Safety. You can find more information on the San Diego County food handlers site, which also has a list of all available online courses. Be sure to print out your certificate and bring it with you. A copy of your certificate must be filed in the House of Sweden, there is a folder in the top file drawer under the craft cabinet for your certificate.

Alcohol Handling Certificate
If you serve alcohol, you must also have an alcohol serving certificate, for example when working in the spirit garden on December Nights.
The House of Pacific Relations holds its last spirit garden class on Wednesday December 4th at 6pm at the Hall of Nations. If you cannot attend the class, you can get certified online at California RBS Certification for Alcohol Servers. Be sure to print out your certificate and bring it with. The online certificate is good for 3 years, the HPR training is only good for the same year's December Nights event.
